Visit University College Dublin, Ireland’s largest university. UCD Library serves University College Dublin, supporting teaching and learning as well as research activities. It comprises five branches, including the flagship James Joyce Library as well as specialist libraries for Health Sciences, Veterinary Science, Architecture and Engineering, and Business. UCD Library also hosts several nationally important cultural heritage repositories: UCD Library Special Collections; UCD Archives; the National Folklore Collection; and the Irish Dialect Archive. In addition, UCD Library provides support to the Irish Social Science Data Archive (ISSDA), which is the Irish Service Provider for the Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives (CESSDA), a European Research Infrastructure Consortium. UCD Library is located at the heart of UCD’s Belfield campus about six kilometres to the south of the city centre.
